My trial ended with a very favorable outcome: jury verdict in my client’s (the plaintiff) favor on two of the three counts. The judge directed a verdict against my client on the third count. Since this was only a trial on liability, with a damages trial set for December in front of the same jury, I’m not going to get into details about the case just yet. But when the case is finished once and for all, I will publish a series of posts discussing the trial and how my client’s experience offers great lessons for all companies looking to protect their trade secrets. For now, I’m busy catching up on all the work that got pushed to the side while I was focused on the trial.  I’ll be resuming my normal posting frequency shortly.
